Part of the experience of studying abroad is meeting new people and that I certainly did. The friends that I made while studying abroad at Harlaxton College are lifelong friends. Most of the friends that I made attend the University of Evansville in Indiana, USA as that is who owns this campus. Visit the University of Evansville web site to learn more about this college. I traveled with these friends throughout Europe. Furthermore, these friends helped me through those times of home sickness, especially the first couple days I arrived. Not only did they comfort me in times of need and travel throughout with me, but they played a significant role in shaping me into a more diverse, independent individual. They brought the best out of me and without the friends that I met, the experience would not have been nearly what it was.
