Meet-A-Family

rule

Another unique part of my experience at Harlaxton College was the Meet-A-Family program. Sandra and Graham Cooper were my parents over my stay at Harlaxton. At least once every week I would get together with them. I was able to experience what the English culture was really like through this experience. Furthermore, I gained much insight to the way of life of the English. The that I developed with them was incredible and I felt as if I was their child. My American mom and aunt also got the opportunity to meet my English family as is shown in the picture below. I was selected to speak on behalf of all the students involved in the Meet-A-Family program at a banquet at the end of the semester. IT was a privilege to thank all of the families, especially mine. My family was the best part of my experience at Harlaxton.
